Village President and Village Pro Tem announced at the May 13th council meeting that they have been shopping for a Village Manager. Apparently council is overworked, citing long hours and low pay (again).
So why are they trying to reduce the council size? Council size is now six. Let’s find another Beulah resident willing to help!
Nothing said about what the new Village Manager will cost and where the money will be coming from to pay for salary, benefits, expenses, etc. Next to nothing said about what this new Village Manager’s responsibilities will be. President and Pro Tem to continue their fact finding mission…
